Brandi Boski (Mena Suvari) is a hard-working caregiver who works at a retirement home. When she hears she's up for a major promotion, she goes out drinking to celebrate. Unwisely driving herself home, she accidentally hits a homeless man, Tom (Stephen Rea), who flies into and gets stuck in her windshield. Fearing the incident will hurt her chances at getting the promotion, she decides to leave a slowly bleeding-to-death Tom in the windshield in her garage. When he's dead, she figures she can safely and secretly dispose of the body. So, Tom must gather up his strength to get out before he dies.
